This lesson plan will help your beginner ESL students engage in a standard conversation at the grocery checkout. The lesson plan includes vocabulary practice, comprehension questions, role plays, and video activities.

What’s new: Week of Sept. 23/24

This lesson plan teaches your beginning ESL students the basic vocabulary needed to follow a recipe. Your students will learn the difference between recipe ingredients and instructions (including some common cooking verbs such as chopping, pouring, stirring, etc.).
