Week of May 11/26

Most Canadians celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday on or around May 24. This lesson plan focuses on Victoria Day as part of the history of the monarchy in Canada.

We will also learn and sing Canada’s royal anthem, “God Save the King.”

Lesson activities include vocabulary learning, singing practice, a short video, and reflection on personal connections to national anthems.
