Making a doctor’s appointment

This lesson plan for your beginner ESL students teaches the basic vocabulary for making a doctor’s appointment, particularly over the phone.

The lesson includes skill-building and practice activities, audio activities, and two videos, as well as role plays and comprehension tasks.

A new section, “Building sentences,” encourages students to produce short sentences from the lesson vocabulary.
