Activities include vocabulary building, listening and reading exercises, a short video, and role plays. Cultural discussions highlight differences in small talk expectations. The class encourages full sentence responses and reflection on personal experiences.

This lesson plan teaches CLB Stage I students the names of the winter clothing needed to stay warm during a Canadian winter.

Activities include vocabulary-building tasks (including a video), interactive discussions, and assessments to enhance understanding of appropriate winter clothing Students also discuss the safety aspects of keeping warm.
