This updated page on Canadian weather offers online lesson plans and other resources for ESL beginners. The lesson plans build your students’ understanding of weather forecasts and extreme winter weather through discussion questions, vocabulary practice, comprehension activities, and review exercises.

What’s new: Week of Mar. 25/24

The updated “Create digital ESL resources for beginners” page includes some free digital-friendly websites I use to create lessons for my beginner ESL students (CLB 1-4). These sites include vocabulary flashcards and other vocabulary activities, video and audio resources, games, free image sites, annotated maps and virtual tours, and AI activity creators. These tools have been useful in my beginner ESL classes.
