Take your students through the process of a dental visit with these three updated lesson plans. The lessons cover booking the appointment on the phone, checking-in with the receptionist, and the appointment itself. Each lesson includes vocabulary practice, role plays, comprehension questions, and video and audio activities.

What’s new: July 5/24

This new lesson plan helps your beginner ESL students learn the words for the parts of the body. The lesson focuses on vocabulary but also includes an original video and teaches common ways to describe problems with various parts of your body.

What’s new: July 2/24

Use this new video to teach your beginner ESL students basic vocabulary for common illnesses. This video is part of the “Talking about common illnesses” lesson plan.

What’s new: Week of July 1/24

Three new ESL lesson plans! First, guide advanced beginners through getting a driver’s licence in Alberta. Second, teach students vocabulary for going through airport Customs. Third, focus on airport check-in vocabulary using role play and other practice activities. Two new videos are included in these lesson plans.

What’s new: Week of June 17/24

Teach your students a great Canadian (and Albertan) song for Canada Day. Students will hear examples of the Ian Tyson song, work on understanding the lyrics, and then practice singing the song themselves. Your students in Edmonton will also understand the role of the song in the Edmonton Folk Festival.
