“Four strong winds”

Teach your students a great Canadian (and Albertan) song for Canada Day.

Students will hear examples of the Ian Tyson song, work on understanding the lyrics, and then practice singing the song themselves.

As part of the lesson plan, watch a new video about the role of the song in the Edmonton Folk Music Festival and at national Canada Day celebrations.
